Noted and illustrated in Topic-Topos [http://fr.topic-topos.com/image-bd/france/56/fonts-baptismaux-brignac.jpg] [accessed 8 February 2017] as a baptismal font of the 16th century. The font consists of an octagonal basin with vertical sides decorated with mouldings at rim and lower end, as well as graded mouldings on the underbowl; on an octagonal pedestal base decorated with a trefoil on each side, and an also octagonal lower base with a moulding; there are metal staples at the upper rim of the basin but no cover present. [NB: we have no information on the font of the 12th-century church here].
