Font Notes:
Baptismal font of the Mosan type consisting of a round slightly tapering basin decorated with four protruding human heads at 90-degree angles of the upper rim, the sides between them decorated with vegetal or animal motifs, one of which an anatomically-challenged dragon with a foxy-looking head; the upper rim shows evidence of damage at opposite ends obviously related to stone breakage due to metal staples of an old cover; there are also two plugs visible in the upper rim; on a single round pedestal base, although the original is most likely to have been a five-support base, as most of these fonts originally were. Font cover of metal, low-dome shape with fish finial; appears modern.
