Listed and illustrated in Palissy [ref.: IM19000327] reported in 1982 as a baptismal font of granite being badly damaged and missing its cover; no date suggested for the font. The same source reports an 18th-century oak panel bearing an oil painting of the Baptism of Christ next to the font, on the north side of the nave at the time. At the time [1982] the round roughly hemispherical basin was partly built into the southest corner of the nave, showing two large portions of the upper rim and side broken off and missing; these two spots are at opposite sides which would indicate that it was damaged related to the metal hardware of an earlier font cover. The font was resting directly on the ground, with some rubble under the rounded sides; it was cemented to the corner on two sides. A more recent reference to the old font is found in Eglises de Corrèze [http://eglises.de.correze.online.fr/] [accessed 29 January 2017]: "Les fonts-baptismaux, une cuve circulaire en granit et une statue d’évêque du XVIe siècle sont bien mis en valeur dans l’église restaurée."
