Baptismal font of limestone of the mid-1500s listed and illustrated in BALaT KIK-IRPA [cliché M200992]; it appears monolithic, octagonal all over, but with clearly divided volume divisions of basin and base; the basin has a thick flat moulding at the upper rim, and has a protruding human head on every second side; the sides are carved as framed panels, those corresponding to the heads having the upper body corresponding to the heads, bust-like, the other four having human faces or floral motifs in them; the underbowl chamfer has a running vine bearing fruit all around; a protruding moulding adorns the centre ring, and separates two bands of eight human faces each framed in panels, and another moulding below that has ball motif on the chamfered sides; the lower base has moulded breach stops at 90-degree angles turning into square at the lower end. The ornate metal [brass?] cover is attached to a small crane on the side.
