Listed and illustrated in Mémoire [refs.: 22L03123, 22L03124]: "Fonts baptismaux : pierre, cuve polygonale sur pied cylindrique, décor en bas-relief, personnages [et] motifs géométriques". Noted and illustrated in Églises de Corrèze [http://eglises.de.correze.online.fr/images/p/palisse-2.jpg] [accessed 13 January 2017]. The font consists of an octagonal basin wih vertical panels decorated as follows [L->R]: ball motif arrangement; human demi-figure holding object?; human demi-figure orant; unidentified motif probably hacked off; Greek potent cross; circle in a square; geometric motif with a large bulging oblong object with a hole in its centre; unidentified, perhaps another figure; the octagonal basin is raised on a plain cylindrical pedestal base that may not be the original. There is no font cover present but one of the sides of the upper basin, the one with the cross symbol, has been badly damaged in a way probably caused by the expansion of hardware from an old cover, a metal staple of some sort.
