The bottom fragment of an old stone basin stands now raised on a modern pedestal base in the southeast corner of the nave, next to a later wooden font now in use; the shape of the fragment suggests the basin was round, probably bucket-shaped, and plain; it may be all that remains from the font of the original late-12th century church here. The later, 1736, font in use is made of wood and supports a metal baptismal dish.
