The present baptismal font in this church is described and illustrated in Denmarks Kirker [http://danmarkskirker.natmus.dk/uploads/tx_tcchurchsearch/Frederiksborg_0290-0509.pdf] [accessed 17 November 2016], is made of a grey sandstone, probably imported from the Netherlands; it consists of a shallow round basin with a gadrooned pattern on the sides ond underbowl, with four female busts holding garlands attached to fake ring handles, arranged at 90-degree angles on the basin sides, below a lip moulding at the upper rim; the baluster-shaped pedestal has ribbed pattern on the sides, with cherub heads at the top, and feline claws at the bottom. The DK entry (ibid.) notes that this font was at some point at the Helsingør Domkirke, where it is documented in 1644, but was probably moved here in the 1800s. The brass cover and baptismal dish are probably also late-16th century, of the time when the church was used by the German community of Helsingør.
