Baptismal font of stone consisting of a large roughly hemispherical basin decorated with stylised frames around the basin; on a squate moulded square base. Late Renaissance (?) style. Hemispherical font cover of wood with statue of John the Baptist finial; at least two of the sides of the large cover are hinged to be opened upwards to provide access to the well of the font. A secondary font of a totally different style, and much smaller, stands next to it, probably serving now as secondary basin in a double-font arrangement, although obviously not originally.
