Baptismal font consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a double moulding at the upper rim, the rest of the sides and underbowl with a pattern of flat ribs, on a moulded round stem and a round-to-square lower base. The cover is a flta and plain wooden one, but it has a tall finial consisting of a fountain-like sculpture with putti on the sides, on which is a large sculpture of John the Baptist holding a simple Latin cross; it appears that the flat wooden platform has small openings to get access to the holy water inside. There is also a side stoup by the font [cf. Index entry for Tepeyanco No. 3; also entry for Tepeyanco No. 1 for a stoup (?) in the nave].
