One of two related objects in this church; it consists of a large round basin with a number [eight?] of protruding figures set on the sides at regular intervals, the figures alternating angels and lion protomes [?]; between them a runing inscription that appears to be meaningless; it is raised on a short polygonal pedestal and has no cover present; this could have been a public fountain or a cloister lavabo, not necessarly a baptismal font.[cf. Index entry for Ciudad Hidalgo No. 2 for a second vessel listed in this church]
