Baptismal font of granite listed in Mackeprang (1941) as part of the Himmerland-Mariagertypen, Mariagergruppen-B, which includes also the font at Farsø. The font consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a double roll moulding at the upper end, the sides and underbowl showing a pair of lions with a human figure between their heads; the human figure has a large round face with a minute sketchy body below; at the back, between the lions' rumps is a monstruous head [dragon? lion?] biting the arm of a hapless human; on a squat moulded square base that is probably a later replacement. Although the decoration ties in with others of the larger Himmerland-Mariager type studied in Mackeprang, the font shape suggests a later date, perhaps the 13th century.
