Font Notes:
Baptismal font of granite listed in Mackeprang (1941) as part of the Himmerland-Mariagertypen, Himmerlandsgruppen. Noted and illustrated in the Aalborg Stift web site [http://aalborgstift.dk/kirker/aalborg-ostre/sejlflod-kirke/dobefont/] [accessed 7 August 2016]. The font consists of a roughly hemispheric basin on a roun-to-square lower base [later replacement?]; the basin is decorated with two pairs of bi-corporal lions sharing non-feline heads, these ones looking rather rabbit-like; the manes here are not as elebaorate as those on some of the other related fonts, but share their renderings with those on the fonts of Gunderup, Veggerby, etc.
