Listed in Mackeprand (1941) as a baptismal font of the Himmerland-Mariagertypen, Himmerlandsgruppen. Noted and illustrated in Slomann (1967) as a granite font of the Hov family. Unlike some of the other fonts on this type it has no human figures in it, only two pairs of bi-corporal lions with non-feline heads.
