Noted and illustrated in the parish web site [www.sonderupsuldrupkirke.dk/Suldrupindre.pdf] [accessed 5 August 2016] as a medieval baptismal font of a group of twelve produced by a stone master from Mariager; decorated with two pairs of lions that share heads [bicorporate], their tails crossed; the brass baptismal dish is from 1650. The round basin has tapering sides, being almost bucket-shaped, unlike the more quasi-spherical basins at Skjellerup, Gassum, etc.; on a round moulded pedestal base that has the lower part rebuilt using the same tiles that cover the floor of the church. There is a Runic-inscribed stone inside the church. The Aalborg Stift entry for this font [http://aalborgstift.dk/kirker/rebild/suldrup-kirke/dobefont/] [accessed 5 August 2016] notes a particular similarity with the font at Nøvling. Also reported in the same source is a Runic inscribed stone, found in 1895 in the 'kirkediget', then moved inside the church; the inscription reads "{riuskR} raised the stone in memory of Ófeigr, his brother" [source: Danske Runeindskrifter [ref.: DK nr.: NJy 55].
