La blancheur de sa pierre tranche à l’entrée de l’église. La nouvelle fontaine baptismale et son socle (850 kg) ont été posés mercredi par Mathieu Ferré, tailleur de pierre à Saint-Malo-de-Beignon, et Richard Le Faou, maçon à Ploërmel. L’église en était dépourvue depuis l’installation de la chaudière dans l’ancien baptistère en 1966." [NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church here; the parish church at Guer was destroyed in a fire on 25 January 1795 [source Ogée's Dictionnaire...
