Noted and illustrated in Quique Segura [after the Enciclopedia del Románico en Castilla y León. Segovia Vol I, Fundación Santa María la Real, 2007, p. 587-593 [www.amigosdelromanico.org/inventario/fichas/espana/segovia/cuellar_sanesteban.html] [accessed 15 July 2016]: "La pila bautismal se encuentra a los pies de la nave norte; mide 112cm de diámetro y se decora con un bocel en la embocadura y gallones separados por sogueados. Esta pieza es obra del mismo taller que labró la pila de la cercana iglesia de San Andrés." Baptismal font of stone consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a moulding at the upper rim, and a ribbed pattern framed in a thin rope moulding all around; on a plain cylindrical base; two metal staples from an old cover remain at the upper rim, but there is no cover present now.
