The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 22 September 2021] notes: "iglesia dedicada a San Esteban, protomártir. This font is not mentioned in the entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico. Stone baptismal font consisting of a large hemispherical basin, plain but for a thin moulding at the upper rim; on a squat base. Wooden font cover, flat, round and plain, hinged 3/4 back; appears modern. The font is now located in an area of the church used now as museum.
