Font Notes:
Stone baptismal font consisting of a square basin with plain tapering sides raised on a short square base decorated with an arcade or fretwork on the sides, a base that is at odds with the basin and is probably a much later addition; the iner well of the basin is square and it was carve to accommodate a flat square font cover; the upper rim of the basin retains two metal staples at opposite ends for the anchoring of the old cover. No cover present. Listed and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico

cuadrada, sin decoración, que apoya sobre tambor cilíndrico acanalado, que acaba en un bajo plinto rectangular con lengüetas. Tal vez pudiera corresponderse con una inscripción en la que consta la fecha de consagración de una vieja iglesia, en 1174, hallada en la sacristía" [NB: the inscription actually bears the 'Era' date of 1212, i.e, AD 1174].
