Font Notes:
Granite baptismal font in this church; it consists of a round basin, raised on a round pedestal dase and circular lower base, the last two items modern replacements; the basin side has a lock from an old font cover, but there is no cover present; the inner well has been modified with a later partition. Noted and illustrated in SIPA [ref.: IPA.00018338]: "No sub-coro, no lado do Evangelho, surge a pia batismal, em cantaria de granito, formada por pequena coluna e por taça em forma de cálice [...] pia batismal quinhentista"
