Church Notes: original church 12thC; some of the present church 13thC but chiefly re-built 16thC; modified 18thC; restored 1966
The baptismal font in this church consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a band of vine motif all around between parallel mouldings below the rim, a pattern of ribs under round arches covering the rest of the sides and underbowl; raised on an octagonal-to-square pedestal base decorated with fret pattern at the top and four human (?) faces below; the pdestal base appears ill-matched to the basin and may not be the original.
