The entry for this church, Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/salamanca_ALMENARA_DE_TORMES.pdf] [accessed 12 October 2025] reports a baptismal font of about the date of the church fabric in a west chapel: "De la época de construcción del edificio debe datar, igualmente, la pila bautismal hoy conservada en una capilla abierta en el espesor del hastial occidental. Su copa es semiesférica, de 110 cm de diámetro por 53 cm de altura, con somera decoración incisa de cruces de malta en clípeos y banda de dientes de sierra en el borde." Baptismal font of stone consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin raised on a cyclindrical pedestal base ill-suited to the top; the basin is decorated with a band of zig-zag between parallel grooves around the upper sides, with several [four?] inscribed Maltese crosses around the sides; at the bottom of the underbowl is a parallel moulding. A crude round, flat and plain cover appears on the font in a Círculo románico photograph
