Font Notes:
Baptismal font of stone made of a fragment of an old [late-12th century?] font into which was inserted a 19th-century basin; the old base has some foliage motifs on the sides. There is modern wooden font cover, round, flat and plain. Listed in Palissy [ref.: IM10005796], and illustrated in Mémoire [ref.: OA010_031010561]: " fonts baptismaux [ calcaire] [...] Deux cuves superposées : une cuve moderne (19e s.), taillée dans une pierre grossière et poreuse, est posée sur une cuve ancienne (fin 12e s.) en calcaire. Le couvercle de la cuve moderne est en bois. La cuve ancienne, assez basse, comporte une base à griffes. Il s'agit peut être d'une ancienne cuve à immersion [...] 19e siècle ; 2e moitié 12e siècle".
