Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM08000577] as a baptismal font of stone of the 12th century. The entry for this village in the Ardennes Thiérache web site [https://www.ardennes-thierache.com/fr/directory/entry/vaux-villaine] [accessed 12 October 2025], however, reports a font of the 16th century in the church: "L’église Saint-Rémi avec son portail et sa cuve baptismale du 16ème siècle".
