Roger et al. (1844) notes: " La cuve baptismale romane supportée par quatre colonnettes munies de pates mérite d être examinée", but does not explain its presence in this relatively modern church. Baptismal font consisting of a square table top with a bulging round basin that looks suspended on four angle colonnettes decorated with roll mouldings, and a squat central shaft [or none], but it is usually monolithic together with the matching lower base; on plain a square plinth. Much damaged all over. No cover present. Font of a design that was relatively popular in this area of France in the Romanesque and early-Gothic periods, with examples at Equennes, Gentelles, Fouencamps, Rouvrel, etc.
