The church here is described by Janvier in Brutalis (1893-1899) as being the original of the priory of Saint-Denis founded by Benedictine monks from Saint-Lucien de Beauvais in the early-12th century; the present church is dated late-15th century in this source, and the baptismal font is described as consisting of "un monolithe ovale", similar to those at Guibermesnil and Inval. The font appears monolithic, with broad shafts at the corners, so the description as octagonal is somewhat inaccurate, it being really square with chamfered corners; it is badly cracked longitudinaly at several places. The wooden cover is part of a quadrangular frame that covers the whole of the font top, a round cover hinged to the larger frame; appears modern.
