Listed in Mérimée [ref.: PA00116213] as a baptismal font with 16thC date originally from the Abbaye de Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme. Baptismal consisting of an octagonal basin decorated with a thick roll moulding at the upper rim, a band of fruit and foliage on the upper sides, and encircled human heads and charged shields on the side panels proper, the panels decorated at the angles with ornate colonnettes of differet designs; decorated underbowl chamfer; moulded octagonal pedestal base; very much a Renaissance-style font. The arms on the font are identified in Armoiries Samariennes [http://remus80.eklablog.com/pende-a130061008] [accessed 14 April 2023] as those of Nicolas de Saint-Blimont and d'Isabeau de La Chaussée d'Eu.
