The present font at Saint-Sernin, located in the south transept, west side, is modern; it consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a gadrooned pattern al around, on a moulded circular pedestal base. Wooden cover with Latin trefoiled cross finial; also modern. [NB: we have no information on the font(S) of the early church(es) here].
