Il y a trois caractéristiques faisant entrer Meuzac dans la catégorie des plus anciennes paroisses : sa superficie, son vocable et sa cuve baptismale." The entry for this church in the Meuzac site [https://www.meuzac.fr/l-eglise-romane-saint-roch] [accessed 9 October 2025], however, reports an imposing font made of granite now used as holy-water stoup located near the entrance: "imposante cuve baptismale en granit devenue ensuite bénitier et présente dans l'entrée du bâtiment." Baptismal font or stoup, probably medieval, said to be located beneath the 19th-century tower; cylindrical, 100 cm in diameter and 90 cm in height; a second font or stoup is said to be located in a private house near the old rural chapel of St. Roch.
