Holy-water stoup consisting of a cylindrical basin of dark serpentine stone decorated with a piping pattern all around, on a plain limestone cylindrical pedestal base. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM87001563]: "Cuve de bénitier en serpentine datable du Moyen Age". [NB: there appears to be a second stoup in this church: it has two grotesque faces or masks on the front of the basin with a star or human shape between them; it is shown as being in this church in Michel Vincendeau's Mes voyages en France [www.mesvoyagesenfrance.com/D87/Vicq-sur-Breuilh.html] [accessed 27 March 2016] but we have not been able to get confirmation thus far]
