Font Notes:
Baptismal font listed in Palissy [ref.: PM10003505]: "fonts baptismaux [...] calcaire [...] 16e siècle [...] Il manque une petite partie de la base du socle qui a été remplacée par des briques. Une petite cavité a été comblée." The font consists of an octagonal basin with plain vertical sides; the lower part of the block is indented to resemble an octagonal pedestal base; the lower base, which appears to be a separate block, is damaged and missing a considerable part which has been replaced by bricks, as indicated in Palissy above; the inner well of the basin is round. There are repairs on inserted stone evident to the sides of the basin, and the upper rim has remains of metal staples from an old cover. There is a font cover of low pyramidal octagonal shape with flame-shaped knob finial; appears modern.
