Font Notes:
The present font, consisting of a large basin that is octagonal with a rounded underbowl, on a short round stem with mouldings at both ends, a round-to-square lower base. Either totally re-tooled or, more likely, 18th-century or later. Flat wooden cover, also octagonal. [NB: we have no information on the font of the original early-13th century church here].
