Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM13002526]: "Ce bénitier [pierre] est orné de cannelures et d'un écu, assez peu lisible, semblant représenter deux compas dont un renversé, avec un marteau et la date. Il doit s'agir d'une marque de tâcheron. [...] Date : 1696." [= a shield appearing to contain two compases, one of which upside down, a hammer and the date 1696, probably an artisan's device]. The stoup consists of a round, almost hemispherical basin, decorated with a large roll moulding at the upper rim, flollowed by a scotia, and a pattern of concave ribs with inserts all around except where the shield is; the shield is charged [cf. supra] and contains the letters G D as well; raised on a plain round pedestal colonnette and a round-to-square lower base.
