Font Notes:
There is an entry for Hatcham [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/TQ3476/hatcham/] [accessed 8 March 2016], but it mentions neither cleric nor church in it. The Victoria County History (Surrey, vol. 4, 1912) notes that the hamlet of Hatcham was originally in Deptford St. Paul's: "The parish of ST. JAMES, Hatcham, was formed in 1845, and enlarged by additional parts of St. Paul's in 1851". There are no early baptismal registers mentioned, so it appears that Hatcham itself never had an earlier church.
