Described in Graves (1843): "Les fonts baptismaux figurent un tronçon de pilier octogone, dont les faces sont ornées d'arcades romanes à dents de scie." Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM60001365]: "fonts baptismaux [...] calcaire (monolithe) [...] Les fonts baptismaux se composent d'une simple cuve octogonale très haute et sans support [...] Chacune des faces de ces fonts baptismaux très simples est ornée d'un arc en plein cintre festonné [...] Fonts baptismaux datés du 12e siècle [...] Ragréages au plâtre [...] mauvais état". The font was in 1993 [cf. supra] a single monolithic octagonal basin of limestone with tapering sides decorated with a plain arcade of round arches; some of the arch-heads were plain, others serrated; on plain columns. A later [2014] photograph of the font records some changes effected since 1993: two old metal staples for an old cover have been removed and the basin has been added a new octagonal base.
