Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM60000582]: "Bénitier en pierre taillée [...] calcaire (en plusieurs éléments) [...] de plan octogonal et dont seules trois faces sont sculptées d'un décor. [...] Des démons sont représentés : deux en buste caractérisés par leurs grandes oreilles et un avec son corps. [...] Base moderne en ciment ; fentes ; éclats. [...] mauvais état [...] Le bénitier peut être daté du 12e siècle." Stoup consists of an octagonal basin with a prominent rim moulding; two grotesque humanoid demi-figures, and one full-bodied fabulous animal with a somewhat simian head and pointed ears, decorate three of the sides; the other five sides are plain; raised on a cylindrical pedestal base and an octagonal lower base, both, as indicated in the Palissy entry above, modern concrete. Wooden cover, octagonal, flat and plain; also modern.
