The font consists of an octagonal basin with moulded sides, raised on an octagonal pedestal base decorated with vertical and diagonal piping on the stem; on a moulded lower base, also octagonal. There is no font cover present but the upper rim of the basin retains two metal staples at opposite ends to anchor an old cover. The font is poor shape, much battered and with green algae growing on the base.
