Font Notes:
Noted in 'Cuves baptismales et fonts baptismaux: évolution formelle avant le XVIe siècle' [www.culture.gouv.fr/documentation/memoire/CATALOGUES/fontsbapt/fontsbapt_histav16e/html/fontsbapt_histav16e.html] [accessed 28 February 2016] with date in the 11th century. The font here, much like the one at Saint-Eusoye, is of a type that has a square frame with an apparent suspended hemispherical basin, the surface of the later decorated with a ribbed pattern; thecolumns at the angles resemble clusters of three, with decorated capitals. There is evidence at the upper rim of former cover anchorings and the resulting damage. The font is covered in modern paint. No font cover present.
