Font Notes:
Baptismal font of the 'suspended basin' design, the hemispherical basin appearing to be suspended from four angle columns; the upper basin side has a row dog-tooth motifs [not crosses] inscribed in squares; the angle columns are square but have large rounded capitals; the base, roughly an upside-down hemisphere is plain. Damage at opposite ends of the upper rim suggest the former presence of font cover anchorings there. The present metal insert in the inner basin is modern.
