The font consists of a square basin with slightly tapering sides designed in a trompe-l'œil shape that has clusters of three colonnettes at the angles, while the sides are carved as if there were a rounded bowl with ribbed sides suspended inside; the colonnettes have capitals and there are mouldings on some of them, some roll, some rope; the squat base has two thick roll mouldings. The inner well has been modified and now has metal liner that covers only half of the basin. The wooden font cover is flat and plain, and has a latch to secure it to the side of the upper basin side. The font is in a poor state of preservation and has had many repairs.
