Font Notes:
The present font is modern; it consists of a tub-shaped basin decorated with a palmette pattern all around; the underbowl is covered in a gadrooned pattern; the base is squat, moulded and decorated with a row of ball motif; the lower base is a cubic pedestal with moulded sides. The multi-stage dome font cover bears an inscription: "UIT ONZE IXOYS JEZUS CHRISTUS IN HET WATER GEBOREN"; instead of a finial it has a handle. [NB: we have no information on the font of the ca. 1400 original church here]
