Habets (1891) reports a baptismal of the 11th or 12th century at the H. Gertrudis church. Noted with measurements in Ligtenberg, who mentions a modern base and the location as being in the northwest corner of the nave. One side of the font and a wall-mounted polygonal stoup of apparently the same dark limestone are illustrated in J.H.A. Mialaret, Noord-Limburg. Gijsbers & Van Loon, Arnhem / Rijksdienst voor de Monumentenzorg, Zeist (1971: 133, 134). Listed in Drake (2002) as a round-bowl font on a multisupport base.
