Described and illustrated [J.P. Tesson's engraving] in Hermans (1855); this author does not mention that the font is said to have originally come from the ancient church at Neerlangel, and dates the font to the 13th or, or the 14th at the latest. Noted in the Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed [http://rijksmonumenten.nl/monument/32337/sint-luciakerk/ravenstein/] [accessed 13 January 2016] as a baptismal font of the 15th-century made of limestone. Noted in Monumenten in Nederland. Noord-Brabant [www.dbnl.org/tekst/sten009monu02_01/sten009monu02_01_0141.php] [accessed 13 January 2016] as a baptismal font originally from the church at Neerlangel.
