Drake (2002) writes: "There are three fonts which slight vertical articulations in the manner of Vledder and Apeldoorn, the lower half cut back to provide the appearance of a massive central shaft flanked by four engaged colonnettes. These are Fulkum and Fu[n]nix [...] and Dunum". The entry for Fulkum in the Evangelische-Lutherische Kirchenkreis Harlingerland [https://www.kirchenkreis-harlingerland.de/gemeinden/fulkum] [accessed 22 February 2022] notes and illustrates a granite font, said to be 11th-12th century and have existed in the early wooden church here [="Der älteste Gegenstand in der Kirche ist der schlichte Taufstein (Granit) aus dem 11./12. Jahrhundert. Er hat wahrscheinlich schon in einer der ersten Vorgängerbauten aus Holz gestanden."]. The font is plain and made of granite, the basin raised on four clustered colonnettes; the wooden cover is dated 1636. The font is located at the east end of the nave, north side.
