[NB: we have no information on the font of the original church here]. A very interesting stone font was photographed in the church probably in the 1950s [cf. ImagesArea]; it is a modern font but its interest lies in the style which has inspired it, that of the old font design in this area: a stone font with human heads at 90-degree angles, a style that endured with little change in this area for centuries; the present font is an abstract rendition of the old design, with four large human busts at 90-degree angles of a round basin; the base is made up of the abstract bodies corresponding to the upper figures. The font is now [2012] in the churchyard [why?] at the mercy of the elements.
