A large stone basin made of coarse granite but much eroded lies in the garden of the Centro Social e Paroquial do Imaculado Coração de Maria Irivo, Vila Cova; it shows several notches that may have been related to its older font cover anchorings and lock [NB: tombo.pt, Registos paroquiais portugueses para genealogia [http://tombo.pt/f/bcl86] [accessed 23 December 2015] shows the first baptismal for this parish registry starts in 1612].
