Sandstone base fragment of an old Bentheim font said to have been removed from the church in the 17th century; what remains is most of the round-to-square base, probably of the Type Berge I or II, as classed in Drake (2002), although this font is not mentioned in his work or in Ligtenberg (1915). The outline of the bottom of the round basin is still discernible, and some of the lions at the corners of the base still show a little detail: teeth, paws, tail, etc. The fragment is now used as support for a modern baptismal dish in use at the east end of the nave.
