The fragment appears to be a little smaller than a full side of a round basin that could very well have had heads on it, as the top right hand corner suggests; framed at top and bottom by flat mouldings, the right side appears to be a thin pillar or piping, whereas the left is broken off; the main motifs is a lion passant to the right, its tail over its haunches, in the typical pose; at the extreme left is a plant or tree, part of the trunk and two large leaves still visible. The fragment is said to be originally from Horssen.
