Hij is vervaardigd van Naamse hardsteen en heeft een achtzijdige kuip, met aan de rand vier koppen. De hoogte van de vont bedraagt 128 cm en daarmee is deze de hoogste in zijn soort van Nederland" [it gives the height of the font as 128 cm and claims it to be the tallest in the Netherlands -- since the font rests directly on the ground without a plinth the claim may very well be correct]. Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin decorated with four human heads arranged at 90-degree angles on the basin sides; one of the head appears to be female, another Moorish or Negroid, as suggested by the facial characteristics and the exotic head gear that resembles a turban; between the heads is a torus-scotia-torus all around; the underbowl is rounded and plain; raised on an octagonal pedestal decorated with a roll moulding at the lower base end; the lower base itself has bearch stops that make the lower end square. No font cover present.
