The present font in use consists of the re-cycled remains of a 12th-13th century Bentheim sandstone font from the church at Heveskes, now used as frame for a metal naptismal dish made in 1969 by G. Piek [cf. Index entry for Heveskes]. [NB: we have no information on the font of the original 13th-century church here]. [cf. Index entry for Heveskes for notes on the font from the disused church there]. [NB: a nearby site known as Lutke-Termunten may be the location of an early wooden church demolished ca. 1574 -- no font known from it]
