Noted and illustrated with measurements in Ligtenberg (2015). Holy-water stoup of the Bentheim type and probably from the Bentheimer workshops; the stoup consists of a cylindrical basin decorated with a braid or double rope moulding below the upper rim, the latter being much damaged all around; a row of horsehoe arches at the bottom of the basin side, all around; on a plain round pedestal base, the sides slightly concave; the lower base, still part of the same block, is round-to-square. The extensive damage to this stoup can be seen in a pre-restoration photograph [cf. Images Area]. [cf. Index entry for Ermelo No. 1 for a font of the same style and period (?) in this church].
